मुख्य रूप से lesbian का हिंदी अर्थ होता है समलैंगिक स्त्री या समलैंगिक। इस वर्ड का use noun और adjective दोनों रूपों में किया जाता है। पर इस वर्ड का हिंदी मतलब जानने के बाद भी यह पता नही चल पा रहा है की लेस्बियन किसे बोलते हैं। तो आइये समझते हैं-
समान लिंग के व्यक्ति के प्रति कामुक भाव से आकृष्ट व्यक्ति, विशेषतः स्त्री; समलैंगिक स्त्री कहलाती है। (a person, especially a woman, who is sexually attracted to people of the same sex called lesbian).
